Cachet Homes is giving homebuyers an incentive to buy. Until the end of the year, the home builder is going to give any buyer $8,000 that can be applied to the purchase of a new home.

The group got the idea from the government homebuyer incentive and decided to take it one step further. What makes this deal unique is that shoppers don’t need to be first-time homebuyers to earn this credit. Anyone who purchases a home from Cachet can take advantage of the credit.

Homeowners can put the money toward upgrades on anything from an outdoor kitchen to custom flooring to cabinet and countertop upgrades and more. They can also use the credit toward closing costs.
